A police duty belt is a nylon or leather belt designed to carry equipment including handcuffs, radios with lapel mics, mace and pepper spray, keys, batons and firearms and ammunition. Holsters are generally worn attached to a person’s belt or waistband, or clipped to an item of clothing. Some holsters may also fit inside a pocket. Holsters are generally kept near the waist, chest, or upper thighs of the user, where they may easily be reached. Other holsters may be behind the back, at the ankle, or even inside the pants.

A bulletproof vest helps absorb the impact from firearm-fired projectiles and shrapnel from explosions. Metal or ceramic plates can be used with a soft vest, providing additional protection from stab and slash attacks from knives and similar close-quarter weapons. Soft vests are commonly worn by police forces, whereas hard-plate reinforced vests are mainly worn by combat soldiers, police tactical units, and hostage rescue teams.

A SWAT (special weapons and tactics) team is an elite tactical unit in various national law enforcement departments. They are trained to perform high-risk operations that fall outside of the abilities of regular officers. SWAT teams are often equipped with specialized firearms including submachine guns, assault rifles and sniper rifles. They have specialized equipment including ballistic helmets, assault vests, gas masks, body armor, ballistic shields and night vision optics for determining the positions of hostages or hostage takers inside enclosed structures. Our SWAT sets include the black ballistic helmet, gas mask, assault vest with magazines and ammunition, drop-leg holster with replica pistol, a replica assault rifle (an M16A2 or M4 carbine) or machine gun (an MP5 or MP5K) and accessories.
